Import your menu — scan it in instead of typing it
Building your catalog by hand is slow. If your menu already lives somewhere — on your website, in a PDF, on a printed card, or in a document — you can scan it in instead. The app reads the treatments, prices and durations, shows you everything it found, and lets you fix anything before a single line touches your live menu.
How to use it
On the Services page, press ✦ Import menu to open the importer. Pick where your menu is coming from, scan it, check the results, then confirm.
- Choose a source: Link (paste your menu’s web address), Photos / PDF (upload a picture or file of your menu), or Paste text (copy your menu and paste it in).
- Press ✦ Scan menu and wait a few seconds while the app reads it.
- Review the list. Each treatment shows its name, price, duration and category — fix anything that looks off, and untick any line you don’t want.
- Press Confirm import to add the ticked treatments to your catalog.
- Optional: turn on Also add to a branch and pick a location to make the new services available there straight away.
Every treatment carries an Already in catalog or New badge. New ones are added to your catalog; Already in catalog ones aren’t duplicated — instead the app refreshes their price and fills in any blanks, and never overwrites wording you’ve written yourself.
The app now captures the full description each treatment has on your menu — what it is, the steps, the tools and key products, who it’s best for — not just a single line. That’s the text the AI uses to write and sell your posts, so richer is better. You can read and edit each description right on the review screen (under the treatment name) before you import. If a treatment you imported earlier only has a thin one-liner, just re-scan the same menu and the app upgrades it to the fuller version — unless you’ve edited that description yourself, in which case your words are kept.
Why you review before it saves
Nothing touches your live menu until you press Confirm import. Reading a menu is clever but not perfect — a price can be misread, a duration missed, two lines merged — so you always get the last word. Look it over, fix what you need, leave out what you don’t, and only then commit.
A scan you’ve paid for is kept for you. If you close the tab mid-review, or a scan can’t read a tricky page, you won’t lose it — your recent imports stay in your history so you can come back, finish reviewing, or try a different source.
Worked example
Aroon runs a small skin clinic and already has a one-page price card as a PDF. She opens Services, presses ✦ Import menu, chooses Photos / PDF, and uploads the file. She presses ✦ Scan menu and a few seconds later sees fourteen treatments — facials, peels and a couple of injectables — each with its price in baht and a duration. Two come up Already in catalog (she’d added her signature facial by hand earlier), so she leaves those to refresh on their own; the rest are New. She corrects one peel’s duration, unticks a gift card she doesn’t want listed, ticks Also add to a branch and picks her downtown room, then presses Confirm import. Her catalog and that branch are populated in one go.
