Taking the best photo to upload

The app polishes what you give it — it can’t invent detail that isn’t there. A sharp, well-lit photo with your work filling the frame turns into a crisp, magazine-quality result. A dark, far-away, blurry one always shows its origins.

What makes a clean upload

  • Light it well. Face a window or a lamp. Even, soft light beats harsh shadow every time.
  • Get close. Fill the frame with the work — the lashes, the nails, the fade — not the whole room.
  • Hold steady. A sharp, in-focus shot is the single biggest factor. Tap your phone screen on the subject to lock focus before you shoot.
  • Clean the background. Tidy what’s behind and around the subject; less clutter, cleaner result.

What to avoid

Dark photos, motion blur, and shots taken from across the room are the three things the app struggles with most. If your photo has any of these, retake it — ten seconds of better lighting saves a regenerate.

Worked example

Lena finishes a lash lift and snaps a quick photo from arm’s length under dim salon light — it comes out shadowy. She turns the client gently toward the window, moves in close so the lashes fill the frame, taps to focus, and takes a second shot. That one polishes into a clean, bright result on the first try. The good upload saved her a regenerate and the credits with it.
