Competitor brands — group a chain's locations under one brand
Some competitors are chains: a few locations that each have their own Google listing — their own reviews, their own address — but all post from one Instagram, Facebook or TikTok. A competitor brand ties those locations together so you see them as one business with several branches, without mixing up their reviews.
How to use it
When you add or open a competitor whose social matches another location you already track, a banner asks “This looks like another location of
Once grouped, each location keeps its own Google, Reviews and Pricing. The Instagram, Facebook and TikTok tabs on a location show the brand’s shared account, read-only, with a note that it’s shared across every location. Press Get shared posts (or Refresh) once and the posts appear on every location of the brand.
Why the social is shared, not per location
A chain runs one social account for all its branches, so tracking it separately on each location would mean paying to read the same posts several times — and could accidentally merge two branches into one. Grouping keeps each location’s reviews separate and reads the shared account once for the whole brand, so it counts as one shared pull no matter how many locations you track.
Worked example
A clinic chain has three branches across the city — each with its own Google page and reviews, all posting from one Instagram. You add the second branch and the banner spots the shared Instagram: “This looks like another location of Glow Clinic — group them?”. You group all three. Now each branch shows its own reviews and prices, and the Instagram tab on any of them shows Glow Clinic’s shared feed. You press Get shared posts once, and the same posts show on all three — one read for the whole brand.
