Clients — keep their details tidy and their consent clear
Your client list is where the people side of the studio lives — names, contact details, and the quiet notes that help you give a personal welcome next time. It’s also where you keep the one thing that matters most before you ever post a result: whether the client has agreed to be shown. This is the area overview.
What you keep here
Each client has a simple record: how to reach them, the services they’ve had, and a notes field for anything worth remembering — a sensitivity, a preference, the look they loved. Keep it tidy and the rest of the studio gets easier: a post can greet a returning client warmly, and Reports can tell you who’s new and who keeps coming back.
On each client you can also mark whether they’ve given permission to use their before/after photos. That mark travels with their images, so when you reach for a result later you can tell at a glance whether it’s cleared to share.
Worked example
Anika finishes a striking acne-treatment course and wants to post the before/after. She opens the client’s record, confirms the consent mark is on (the client signed off at her last visit), adds a note about which products worked, and only then sends the images to the Composer. The result goes out with a clear conscience.
