Before & After — show the transformation

A before/after slider shows two photos of the same client — the before and the after — with a handle people drag left and right to reveal the change. It’s the single most convincing thing you can post, because the proof is right there in the viewer’s own hand.

When to use one

Reach for a slider whenever the change speaks for itself: a balayage colour correction, a course of facials clearing skin, a brow lamination, a deep-tissue session’s posture difference, a fresh set of nails over bitten ones. If you’d naturally say “look at the difference,” a slider says it better.

It’s less useful when there’s no clear before — a brand-new style with nothing to compare against is just a regular photo. In that case, post the single polished image instead.

How it fits with the rest of the studio

A slider is built from two photos. The “after” is often a Photo Studio result, so it’s already polished and on-brand. Once the slider is made, it drops straight into a scheduled post like any other image.

Worked example

Priya runs a skin clinic. Over six weeks a client’s acne clears noticeably. Priya takes a before photo on day one and an after photo at the final session, polishes both in Photo Studio for matching light, and builds a slider. Posted to her feed, it pulls more bookings than any single photo she’s shared — because new clients can see the change for themselves.

  • Creating a slider — make one from two photos in a couple of steps.
  • Sharing — post or download the finished slider, with a consent reminder.
